Description
Multistage sectional centrifugal pumps are more advanced. The design of such pumps provides for several impellers and stages, which are arranged in series one after another. In such of construction, the water flow moves from the intake hole of the stage to the inlet of the next stage, while the final pressure indicator is equal to the sum of the pressures that each stage of the pump creates. In these types of pumps, the common shaft can be oriented both vertically and horizontally.
