Description

A submersible sewage pump consists of several key components:

Pump casing: Made from durable, corrosion-resistant materials such as cast iron or stainless steel, protecting the pump from the aggressive effects of wastewater.

Impeller: Can be open, semi-open, or vortex type, depending on the type of liquid being pumped. Some models are equipped with cutting mechanisms to shred solid particles and fibrous materials.

Motor: The electric motor is hermetically sealed for submerged operation. It is equipped with overheating protection and automatic shut-off in case of critical loads.

Shaft: Made from high-strength stainless steel, increasing the durability and resistance to corrosion.

Seals: Multi-stage seals protect the motor and other critical parts of the pump from water and contamination ingress.
